I'm pretty sure, but could easily be wrong, in saying that the rainbow is the planes shadow and the software somehow ghosted or misinterpreted the data. Perhaps they are moving the end of the rainbow to a south sea island in preparation. Alternatively it may be a small drop of condensation on the camera lens capturing some ambient light source.
